Your start into the future

Vocational training

Your training at Auto-Kabel:

  • You will rotate through many different departments during your training and get to know the different commercial areas
  • You will work independently and take responsibility for smaller internal projects
  • Your training plan will be coordinated with the theoretical content of the vocational school, so that you can deepen the content learned there
  • You will gain insight into production to get to know the products better

Duration of training: 3 years

Educational requirements: Secondary school leaving certificate, intermediate school leaving certificate or A-levels

Vocational school: Commercial School Schopfheim

Your training at Auto-Kabel:

  • During your training, you will become a specialist in the maintenance, servicing and repair of our complex systems and machines
  • You will become familiar with mechanical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Your training plan will be coordinated with the theoretical content of the vocational school training, so that you can deepen the content learned there.

Duration of training: 3,5 years

Educational requirements: Secondary school leaving certificate, intermediate school leaving certificate or A-levels

Vocational school: Trade School Lörrach

Your training at Auto-Kabel:

  • During your training as an industrial mechanic, you will become a specialist in assembly, commissioning and maintenance,
  • You will learn metalworking with tools and machines – this includes turning, welding, drilling and milling
  • Your training plan will be coordinated with the theoretical content of the vocational school training, so that you can deepen the content learned there
  • By passing through the various departments, you will gain insight into all areas of production and you will already work independently during your apprenticeship

Duration of training: 3,5 years

Dual courses of study

Your dual study programme at Auto-Kabel:

  • You will gain insight into the creation and production of prototypes and samples during the practical phases of your dual study programme
  • You will learn metalworking with tools and machines – this includes turning, welding, drilling and milling, and you will be introduced to CNC programming
  • Your training plan will be coordinated with the theoretical content of the DHBW training, so that you can deepen the content learned there
  • Even more complex topics and processes are easily explained and presented to you in the varying, multi-faceted departments in daily work

Educational requirements: A-levels or advanced technical college entrance qualification with a DHBW test

Vocational school: DHBW Lörrach

Your dual study programme at Auto-Kabel:

  • During the practical phases of your dual study programme, you will gain insights into production processes and the organisation of goods
  • Your training plan will be coordinated with the theoretical content of the DHBW training, so that you can deepen the content learned there
  • Manufacturing processes that you learn in theory can be applied in practice at Auto-Kabel
  • Learned project management basics are your constant companion in everyday life at Auto-Kabel – from customer enquiry to the finished cable
  • You will gain an insight into many different areas, such as purchasing, controlling, development, etc.

Vocational school: DHBW Lörrach

Your dual study programme at Auto-Kabel:

  • Your training plan will be coordinated with the theoretical content of the DHBW training, so that you can deepen the content learned there
  • You will work on your own projects
